Quarantine Project: Connecting in Spite of Covid 19
A series of 40 portrait drawings observed from life over Zoom of people in quarantine during this pandemic crisis. The project was conceived as a way of staying connected while stuck alone or with their families in different places, apart and yet strangely together. Sitters are located all over the world and have been affected in different ways by the isolation that the virus has imposed upon them.
In exchange for their work, I have made for each participant two masks, hand-sewn with colorful fabrics, created by me especially for this project.
